A handbuilt terracotta charger, decorated in white slip and sgraffito, designed for Speak, Memory, a special exhibition at Casa Cabana for Milan Salone del Mobile, 2025.

The surface decoration is inspired by a memory of Chinese Imari porcelain, glazed in sooty blues, lavender greys and faded orange, with motifs in relief moulded from antique cookie and chocolate moulds; depicting a tiger, a bird, a lotus flower, a beaver and a butterfly, all of which have deep-rooted symbolic meaning evocative of good fortune and longevity in Chinese culture. The central well features paper lanterns and stylised flowers in a blue and white vase.
