Handbuilt terracotta ashet, or large serving dish, decorated with white slip and sgraffito, depicting motifs inspired by early 19th century European ceramics, including delft, faience and frakturs. These works are glazed with muddy greens, berry stain reds and pale, watery pinks. The wheat sheaves in relief are pressed from antique French chocolate moulds. The text reads, Allez Bien, Soyez Bien - Go well, be well.
